Overview
The Alliance for Socially Engaged Arts includes some of Europe’s leading arts philanthropic. Together, they provide funds to artists across Europe, who work toward or for social impact and causes. This is known as Socially Engaged Arts. The foundations came to us in need of developing one voice that could capture them all.
It wasn’t easy. In less than a month, the brand reached over 10,000 people across Europe, with over 3k followers across social media platforms.

The Challenge
What does socially engaged arts even mean? Each foundation and each member had their own definition. We were working with 25+ members. That’s 25+ definitions. The job was finding alignment on what the brand was, what it stood for, and what socially engaged arts meant to each of them.
The Solution
4+ workshops to arrive at a definition, values, a narrative and a name that everyone agreed on. But a brand that also reflected the needs of the arts fellows themselves.
